Welcome, since this site just recently opened there are no real FAQs as of yet. However since you are here you probably have at least one question you are wanting an answer to.

Meanwhile here some questions and answers that I think will be asked:
Q: Do I need to register on this site to post an ad?
A: No, however you will need to enter a valid email address to activate your ad and manage your ad afterwards.
Q: Why should I post an ad here when I could use a bigger classifieds site?
A: This site is for the Thunder Bay area only (less competing ads) and having your ad in more than one place (site) gives you more coverage.
Q: I see that there are free and paid ads, what’s up with that?
A: If you are not posting an ad on behalf of a business then you are welcome to choose the free ad option (ex: yard sale). However choosing a paid ad helps pay for the cost of operating this site and encourages the webmaster to continue working on the site to make improvements. Also paid ads allow more than one image and more content.
Q: What if I am posting an ad on behalf of a business?
A: If you are posting an ad on behalf of a business then you are required to use the paid ad option. There’s nothing stopping you from choosing the free option, however your ad will likely be reported and removed. Also you could be band from posting ads in the future – honesty is the best policy.
Q: What if I’m posting an ad as a non-profit business?
A: Nonprofit business are allowed to choose the free ad option.
Q: How do I know if I qualify as a nonprofit?
A: The simple answer is if you charge/collect tax for your products/services then you are a for profit business. Ex: Salvation Army thrift store is a nonprofit where as Value Village thrift store is a for profit business.
